PART TIME ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT - QUICKBOOKS

A small nonprofit organization in Seattle, WA is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team for an on-going flexible Part Time position. The ideal individual will have experience with the basic fundamentals of accounting, strong data entry skills, proficiency in QuickBooks and experience working for a nonprofit preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Entry - Multi Entity Invoices
- QuickBooks Invoicing
- Summarize and verify daily reports
- Answer phone and assist customers with questions
- Maintain and update various reports
- Send and receive faxes and email
- Filing, copying, faxing

Skills & Knowledge:
- Accounting - candidate must demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of the accrual basis of accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks invoicing
- Experience working with spreadsheets & Excel
- Demonstrate high level of attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills

PART-TIME: 4-10 Hours Weekly (Flexible daytime schedule within 9AM-6PM)
PAY: $16-$18 DOE
ONGOING PERM - Potential for growth with additional job duties in future
